I gotta watch an F1 classic on the eve of the new Formula 1 season and what better story to tell than the rivalry or James hunt and Niki Lauda. I actually do feel like the movie does an injustice to the legendary career of Lauda, they really do just gloss over his first championship to focus completely on the 1976 season which to me as an F1 fan is a shame. I also learned something new in this flick, the Japanese Grand Prix in 1976 was raced at Fuji Speedway which is about 6 miles away from me right now, I never thought about it, I thought it was at Suzuka this entire time. Anyways, great story, great acting, great music, and a job done really well on the accuracy really. I loved this film. I’m actually disappointed it was so short, I felt like they could’ve showed more races. It’s fine though. Will watch again.
