❝You're right. I don't know what you faced back there. But in that abbey, Sister, you performed a miracle. The Church needs another.❞

The Nun 2 is a very big downgrade from its predecessor, from the plot to the horror elements. The best parts of this film are Taissa Farmiga and Jonas Bloquet, reprising their roles as Sister Irene and Frenchie, and I'm also very partial to Valak, played by Bonnie Aarons. However, I wasn't a huge fan of the performances from the rest of the cast, and the ending felt so forced and incomplete. I will say, though, that similar to the first film, the soundtrack is pretty good, but on the whole I don't think this is worth rewatching.
