"I regret nothing."
This was very interesting to watch, not at all what I was expecting. They did go over the more popular controversies the game has been involved in. Still, we are also shown really interesting perspectives and nuanced insight about the game itself, as well as a lot of interesting information about it. This was an absolutely incredible watch as someone who loves Postal very dearly.
I may be slightly biased, but I want to express my deep appreciation for this game. I played Postal for the first time not too long ago, having initially played the second game first. While it's not a life-changing experience with profound meaning, I was captivated from the moment I sat down to play. Despite its controversial nature, I found myself drawn to its nonsensical violence, which sparked in me a similar reaction to what shows like South Park create in others. Since then, I've become a huge fan of the franchise.
I won't claim that Postal inspired me to go to film school, as it's not cinematic at all. However, it heavily influenced the types of projects I aspire to create in the future. It motivated me to explore ways to combine two of my greatest passions: video games and films. This realization has led me to dream of working in video game production, where I could collaborate on scripts and cinematics. For that, I have this game to thank, even if indirectly.
I will stop there, whatsoever. It is probably a little ridiculous for me to credit a game where pissing on others is part of it's mechanics this much, lol.
