This film is meant to be a dark-comedy, and while it's true that I chuckled a couple of times, I was mostly depressed. Just the fact that we learn the man he's named after isn't his real father moments before his mother dies is so twisted; it's easy to understand why he's the way he is. Honestly I don't really know what else to say, except that I love Kieran Culkin and that Igby deserved so much better.
