Fucking incredible!! Despite what the title and premise might suggest, this is more than just an animated short film that revolves around a memoir of a horny teen.
This 25 minute short film is a very honest and grounded in capturing what this person had in their life experience. It’s got a great sense of self awareness in its absurd yet human nature.
The presentation is out of this world! each chapter has its own visual and audio style and each of them serves a greater purpose in communicating our lead’s emotions and the people she is falling for. Right from the start the visuals and sound design are expressive and engaging, hooking the audience in a funny concept that’s also through genuine human expression.
If it weren’t for multiple moments where the lip sync in the animation felt a bit off, this would easily be a 10 but this is still an incredibly purposeful and unique experience that brings so much enthusiasm in me! It’s free to watch online so yall need to check this out!!
