Wow. This was...it certainly was. I mean, I was delighted. And also completely baffled at how this movie came into existence. This movie was silly, also pretty stupid. The story concept is really fun and had a lot of potential to be something just a touch more nuanced. I think this would be a really great kids movie if not for the random running bit of innuendos with Cash and BJ's mom.
The best part about this movie was the dance montage near the beginning when all the contestants are being introduced. That was a blast. Also the random full-screen BBQ Chicken ad was pretty elite.
Oh, also the worst case of Netflix lighting I've ever seen.
