I’m not a Buddhist, and I definitely didn’t understand everything about this film. But I can appreciate it. It is definitely very different from all the other films in Scorsese’s catalog, and really unlike any of his other religious films. Also I had to buy the dvd copy because it was impossible to find on any streaming platforms.
