after watching lots of war films, its safe to say that paths of glory is one of the best out there. in my opinion this film perfectly depicts the corrupt nature of war, not just the warfare but the social and political corruption too. stanley kubrick has utilised this as a way to show that although war and destruction is awful, the human beings behind it are worse, and represent pure evil
