This movie is 78 minutes and that's including the cold open and the ending narration by scott eastwood. No movie with a plot that is supposed to be this deep can succeed with that amount of runtime. This movie has some good moments, but nothing really stands out I like the last 15 minutes where Scott goes to fight the Bokushi, but this film really needed a 2 hour runtime to express its ideas. It feels like it has ideas that never got actual air.

This movie was quite chaotic; it was often difficult to tell when the story shifted between the present and the past, as everything felt so intertwined. The action was happening at such a rapid pace that it was hard to keep up.
