Skinned Deep doesn't always work. There are some really head-scratching decisions, especially with the writing

But when it is working, it's gross, insane and really thrilling

The special effects are top-notch, and that is clearly a product of Gabriel Bartalos and her work

But yeah, I found this movie really difficult to stay attached to. The premise sets this all up to be a really effective horror-comedy, but the aesthetic is really all over the place for me. Still nasty though
