Sometimes you have 1132 movies on your watchlist but the movie you decide to watch is none of those. I liked this a lot. There’s an absurd and matter of fact style about it that I really enjoy and its depiction of art school/art people made me lol and also made me Think. I didn’t read it as anti-intellectual as some reviews on here seemed to nor did I think it was affirming any particular or decisive view of art which is okay because it was just honest I guess. 

The poster is pretty horrendous and that’s an objective truth about art.

Can’t believe I just rage-baited myself for an hour and forty minutes. Apart from the bizarre sub plot throughout this movie (although it does REALLY drive the point across at the end), this may be one of the most accurate depictions of pretentious creative snobs of all walks of life. I mean holy hell… I hate all these fucking characters, that’s what makes this movie so good though lol. 

Overall, I did really enjoy it though. This very clearly shares DNA with “Ghost World”, but I’m not mad at that! I love that movie too lol.
