fuck this was really amazing. i started it cus im a HUGE dominic fike fan but this quickly turned into an amazing movie. im a huge fan of visually beautiful movies and this is definitely one of those. i liked how it was so eventful but also not eventful at all. trey is so fucking cute omd i wish he was my son

Ouch this one hurt quite a bit and not my stomach hurts. Incredibly tender and very verisimilitude. The acting was great, especially by the lead and Miss. C, but really everybody held their own. The story was very sad and felt too real/relatable in some parts but I still enjoyed it. This has been on my radar and I’m glad I got the chance to watch it, very well done.

grabs you by the hand at the very first second and remains both breathtaking and heartbreaking until the last. a gorgeous display of trying to break generational trauma with the scarse recources that lower class black women have. completely destroyed me to my core, sobbed on and off for around 40 minutes. wonderful performances from the whole cast but specifically tia nomore's subtle and powerful acting really stuck with me.

also beautiful cinematography, but i feel the need to point out the enchanting shots of the sea especially the ones in the middle and end. made it truly exceptional for me.
