What’s crazy about this is it starts off with one of the most meandering first acts I’ve seen. 25 minutes of investigating with little suspense or intrigue. Then, all of the sudden, it turns into a cross between Alien and The Thing with a healthy scoop of theology added to the mix!
It reminds me of Thirteen Ghosts, the script is messy, but once the action gets going, you have enough fun that you don’t really mind. I just wish the pacing and suspense were handled better in the introduction.
