Melodramatic soapy thriller meets southern gothic in Sister Sister. While it’s nothing all that unique or special I loved the cinematography so much, the aesthetics are very pretty yet haunting. I was pleased to see some humour and little baby Jennifer Jason Leigh is in this too and looks so cute.

It’s so cool that this dreamy, ethereal Southern Gothic erotic thriller starring Jennifer Jason Leigh was directed by the same guy as Twilight: Breaking Dawn Parts 1 & 2. 

Takes a little bit of time to find it’s footing but the last 2/3 of this movie goes extremely hard. Might have to cop that new restoration from Vinegar Syndrome just to see all the hazy lighting in its purest form.
