When it comes to religion, they always oppose on the idea of loving the same sex saying that men and women can only procreate. The fact that they forced lisa to kneel just to “wash” her sin (loving dalia). And the audacity of dalia’s father to cut her off their family and business just because the doesn’t want to have a baby just like they wanted. I like the story but bot the cinematography.

It's a pretty sweet romantic drama that deals with some heavy subjects. The two leads have some pretty good chemistry. I like how the movie deals with the heavy subject matter like racism, homophobia and religious trauma in the small town context. It does fall into the cliches alot of the times and I didn't mind it but at the end it was a bit annoying. We get a happy ending and I do like how it's dealt with realistically but it does drag a bit. In the end polorised is a sweet romantic drama with some flaws but still a good time
