Easily one of the year’s most creative and ambitious movies, as well as one of the fucking craziest things I’ve ever seen. Love Sebastian Stan in this, his golden globe was well deserved; it’s awesome seeing him branch out into serious roles that many actors wouldn’t even touch with a 10 foot stick.
Also love seeing Adam Pearson in another movie after Under the Skin. Pearson has NF1, which is the topic of my research at work. He’s such an awesome representative for the community and I really hope this larger role breaks him out into the scene more. We’re getting you that Oscar one day big bro.
What a surreal feeling this movie gives. Almost evokes Kaufman in the way it deals with the theme of the Power of Fiction but still approaches the subject matter in a unique way.
