Lowkey, this was kind of stupid 😭 but I had a great fucking time watching it.
The story is definitely a little ridiculous when you stop and think about it, but honestly I was having too much fun to care. Sometimes a movie doesn't need to be a masterpiece, it just needs to entertain you, and this absolutely did that for me.
The real star of the show was the monster. That thing was genuinely horrifying. The design was creepy as hell, and every time it showed up I was immediately stressed out. Honestly, if I had watched this a few years younger, I would've been absolutely terrified. No question. I'd be checking under my bed before going to sleep.
So yeah, maybe it's dumb, maybe it doesn't always make sense, but it was fun, creepy, and gave me a monster I'll probably remember for a long time.
