It's a tad slow going. The action eventually picks up in the second half, but the first half had more than enough of build-up. There's some creative camera work going on here, with some not so jumpy jumpscares. In the end, The Evictors is another Charles B. Pierce film with a poster that outshines the final product.

I enjoy these old "true story" horror movies. Kinda shocked to see that Michael Parks is in this. I had no idea. He doesn't strike me as a leading man type. At least in the way he is used here. Anyway, the film is good and has some good jump scares. Looks great on Blu.
