Alan J. Pakula returns to this high-stakes intrigue suspense story he did before in All the President’s Men, again with the noble truth-at-all-costs journalist, this time played by Denzel Washington. It’s delivered with some suspense and thrills, but nothing outstanding. Almost the platonic ideal of the mid 90s thriller.
