I only watched this so I could complain about Noah Schnapp’s inability to act in the current season of “Stranger Things” on here. He’s terrible in this too, maybe even worse. I’ve coined a term that I will apply to him, Andy Barclay Syndrome. It’s when a child actor grows up with a role and everyone realises they can’t act. However since he has such a large instagram following (I’ve blocked him so I’m not checking), he’s gonna keep getting cast in roles because he was in one popular show as a child. His performance in this is also laughably bad, but you already knew that.
As for the plot, You know what. I am a fan of the protagonist is actually the secret villain trope. So I gotta give it props. I didn’t expect that. Oh yeah, Spoilers.
I’m kinda against giving decently made movies 1/2. I’ve seen the lowest of the low. I can’t rate this on the same level as a badly made movie in every aspect. Like I feel it’s such a low rating. It is competently made. Only part of the production I disliked really with the digital screen type things they used for the car scenes, they seemed like they were moving at a different frame rate so they looked laggy and slow.
