Yeah it’s an old movie, it had some great themes that came out of the book but it has definitely not got any sort of appeal for me so I’m not going to rate it that high. I kind of had to force myself through this bad boy. I know, I know, respect the classics man, but I say to that, is it really a classic if it can’t stand up to time itself. My biggest problem with this film is the sound effects are so annoying and painfully loud. I thought my eardrums were going to rupture. I watched it once and never again.

All of the scenes in this film are just extremely dull and bland, and I honestly felt so bored whilst watching this. I'm still yet to read the book, but apparently the book is far better, so this film could potentially go under the category of stories that should have stayed written on a page rather than being adapted into a film.
