Janice is struggling; she moves through life as if in a haze, unable to let go of her anger and frustration. While her husband has found refuge at a new church, Janice finds it hard to seek solace in her faith despite her pastor’s pleas to heal her wounds by meeting with the mothers of her son’s victims.

10/14/23 My first ever movie premier with this film and I’m extremely blessed. Got to experience an after party and was lucky enough to be on the presence of Michael Shannon himself as well as beloved director Jeff Nichols. I had a great conversation with Jeff and even got a picture with the two of them. Lovely guys but this film wasn’t my favorite. Promising at some points but fell short in other points. Didn’t feel satisfied with the overall product. This isn’t to discredit Michael because I think he has some extreme talent behind the camera but this movie dragged a little too much for me.
