HTSDOF is one of Netflix's best series and definitely deserves 5 solid stars. This movie however wasn't on the same level as the series. It has its moments, but overall it was just decent. I don't feel any more sympathy for Buba after this, I was like, "Oh, okay, I don't care." I was more interested in his character arc in the series than the self-titled movie

i was pretty excited to see this when it was recommended to me after the very last ep of HTSDOF because I needed MORE!!!!
It made me happy to see Lenny and Moritz and Dan at the very beginning and very end! i kinda FIGURED that this prequel wouldn’t compare to the show but i did enjoy it!!! it was silly, and i LOVE the albanians. The head nod joke always made me laugh. and i enjoy the universally accepted gay couple in the show
overall i could have done with more easter eggs to the show!!! holy fucking masochist though. i loved the parallel of the two brothers dying the exact same way
anyhow. i’d say this movie is good! not GREAT! but good! good movie to chill out and watch with my dad! :)
