Subtly brilliant exploration of transactionality— ( parasocial relationships by proxy ) , and gen-z / millennial desire to chase quick wealth . Is this out of genuine fulfillment ? Or is it all for the sake of vanity , and to compare yourself to others ? Just chasing validation through metrics .
The title is clever , I love it .
Great direction , you can see how dehumanizing it turns him . A cluttered ; neglected apartment , and walking around like a lifeless zombie . He rides an emotional high with every incremental win , profiting and leap frogging himself off of his class equal peers .
A score so ridiculously anxiety inducing . It’s like a pulsating & flickering street light at midnight . The gunshots felt like I was playing *BODYCAM* . Horror elements at play worked extremely well , so did the tone blending for the most part to me .

I had a few minor issues and nitpicks with it . I also really think the 3rd act is a little weak , and paced strangely . But thankfully the final scene , and dialogue spoken saved it for me . I thought we really slipped here with the resolution … and to some degree it kind of still does ? Overall really loved it though , at least we got walk em down Sano to makeup for some of its flaws . Perhaps it’s a 3.5 … we shall see . But outside of my complaints … everything else is dialed . I can’t think of many slow burn , action , horror , comedy ; contemporary westerns , that are this interesting .
Y’all lucky this mf ain’t get his hands on Pokémon cards .
