**NO SCORE.**
while it makes some valid points, but there are just too many fundamental flaws in *LIKE* that prevent it from being either an enjoyable or productive watch.
the sample size used by this documentary is shamelessly EXAGGERATED, overly ANECDOTAL, and terribly SMALL-SCALE — ALL at once. thus, the (mostly) accurate, but broad statements made by medical professionals FAIL to ALIGN themselves with real-life social media usage.
also, it all seems so inauthentic. it’s a shitty CRASH COURSE on social media for adults who DON’T use social media (or clearly use it in a different way than that of younger generations). it also feels like a poorly-edited, rushed-content documentary project that a high-schooler would make to BLOAT their college common app. and that GOD AWFUL slam poetry-esque acapella rap near the end was brutal to watch.
oh, and did i mention how this went on for FIFTEEN MINUTES PAST when school meeting was supposed to end? *LIKE* was doomed to be a poor watching experience for me.
