Nightshift

It's so charming and beautiful. The shots and the colors were to die for. This movie is so unique in its simplicity. It should be the most boring movie ever, but it's just not. Its so fun, but if you asked me why i felt that way I couldn't for the live of me explain it. There was a point where I felt the need to cry and just as before I have no idea why. The ability for a film to induce emotion is the baseline for good. This movie does it without even trying. The only downside of this movie is trying to find a way to watch it with good quality. The one I found was just alright. I'd love to watch this again in its intended form. I originally thought there was no way I could rate this, but the more I think about it the clearer it is to me that this might be the first film I've watched that just blew me away with its vision. to me this is truly a masterpiece.

Been in a not-so-ideal mood for a day or so and no idea why I thought I wanted to watch a horror film to soothe it, maybe I wanted to conquer my feelings? - anyway its almost poetic, I wished for something dreadful and ended up with a film so ethereal and full of life) Genuinely changed something in me. So touched I almost want to go back to my shitty nightshift work again. almost
