X

watched this after i saw Ti West's X, because while searching for that i stumbled upon this.  this film wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. it did make for a decent thriller with rushes of adrenaline, but overall a very cliche plot. predictable ending and overall just felt quite bland. i feel like it could have been executed better. the concept is there and it was easy to grasp. obviously this is nowhere near the standard of Ti West's X. i've literally never heard of this X before.

As always, Persona remakes fuckin rock. Everyone would be eating this shit up if the director name was Steven Soderbergh instead of Jon Hewitt. Some fun digital camera work along with a bunch of sexy, sleazy thrills makes this movie a worthwhile ride. Erotic Thrillers aren't quite dead yet, baby.

I was expecting great things from this movie. I loved the premise of this so much, but I felt so uninterested throughout the whole thing. I didn't give a shit about any character in this film. I don't know, maybe when I'm in a different mood I'll rewatch it? But overall meh.
