devoured this in less than 24 hours, and i'm absolutely floored. there is something so inspirational, so vivifying about michelle mcnamara. her aspirations are unfettered, to which i'm incredibly envious, and her tact unmatched. I do wish the title of this series included the subtitle found on the book's cover ("One Woman's Obsessive Search for the Golden State Killer"), maybe then there wouldn't be losers crying in the reviews about how this "isn't a real crime documentary." They're right, though, it's something much better.
