❝Nothing holds, and all things change, given time. Change does not often announce itself. It does not trumpet its arrival. No, change is emergent. By the time one realizes it has arrived, it has already set its teeth.❞

I finally finished this series after starting it a long time ago, and I'm kicking myself for not getting around to it sooner. I love the mix of horror and romance, and it's creepy without overdoing it. There were a couple of moments that were a bit confusing; after some thinking it all made sense and on the whole the plot was easy to follow. The cast was excellent overall, but I really liked Amelie Bea Smith (Flora), Rahul Kohli (Owen) and T'Nia Miller (Hannah)'s performances. On the whole, a great spooky experience, Owen and Hannah deserved better, and I'm definitely watching The Haunting of Hill House next.
