❝When the North opened up, everyone thought they’d cash in on it. But what’s the reality? Only the haves got richer. The have-nots, like us, have to find our share of the pie. That’s why this team was created.❞

I haven't watched the original Money Heist series (it's in my watchlist) so I can't compare Joint Economic Area with it, but as a standalone series this isn't too bad. The concept is interesting and the cast have a lot of charm, but after the first couple of episodes it felt like the plot was really being dragged. Some of the heist characters also starred making very bad decisions which just stopped me from rooting for their success, but I also didn't like the police trying to capture them, too. If you're a fan of heists and any of the actors, I'd say give this a watch, but knowing what people think of Money Heist, I wouldn't necessarily recommend this if you're a fan of the original.
