The Innocent
You know the kind of stories where they add like a 10-second twist at the end that actually f*cks up the whole point? It makes you wanna just pretend the ending didn’t exist, and makes you go from liking the story to absolutely despising it?
This is one of those stories.

But actually, it brings even more perspective, like, none of the characters are justified or fully morally sympathetic.

I really liked the part where they talked about 'accidents happen,' 'one accident doesn't define who you are,' 'what others think isn’t always true,' 'people deserve a second chance.' I liked that these ideas were shaped into Mat, and the fact that they also betrayed those ideas at the end. It makes us question our morals, do people who actually commit crimes (not by accident, especially murder) still deserve a second chance?

I swore a lot because i got carried away in the story, especially when it came to the club and that old police story. Like, I don’t know if it’s intentional, but the men in this series are either stupid, emotional (in a bad way), criminal, or keep justifying themselves. Like man, you’re a f*cking pedo.

Some of the twists are predictable, some are good and shocking, some actually feel too forced and a bit unnecessary, but still enjoyed it overall
