This is beyond my expectations. Very enjoyable. You can probably still guess some of the twists, but the biggest one comes out of nowhere. It’s jaw-dropping, but sometimes twists like that can feel a bit off. A good twist isn't just about whether it’s easy to guess or not, but also about the buildup.
Unexpectedly, this turned out to be very sad, it made me question my morals. I mean, I was mad at the perpetrators, but when I imagined him and his sister as kids having to go through all that, I cried. I empathized so deeply that I even felt slightly annoyed at what Rosa did, even though she was just a kid back then too.
I still don’t quite understand why he’s only angry at the mothers, especially since I believe some of them didn’t know what happened. Is it meant to imply something misogynistic?
