Genndy Tartakovsky is such talented voice in the animation space. Dexter‘s Laboratory, The Clone Wars, Samurai Jack, and Primal are all excellent animated shows and Unicorn: Warriors Eternal is another banger from Genndy. This show feels like Genndy just doing whatever he wants and it still is incredibly entertaining. To me this felt very much like a throwback to the Betty Boop era of animation. At first this seems like such a hodgepodge of ideas but by the end it’s all come together perfectly. I hope adult swim keeps giving Tartakovsky work because quality animation like this has a long life span. I didn’t even know this came out a couple months ago. Quality ultimately bubbles to the top tho. Genndy Tartakovsky has had a hand in so many phenomenal seasons of TV his name is an instant watch for me.
