Seen this guys rating system on another review so I’m lowkey gonna steal it:
1. "Laser Baby's Day Out" (⭐⭐✨)
I watched this episode like a month ago so it’s pretty irrelevant to me now but remember it being somewhat enjoyable, kinda boring though and must’ve caused me to not watch the rest of the show.
2. "An Animated Short Where Pissed-Off Supes Kill Their Parents” (⭐⭐⭐✨)
This episodes really fun, shows off some more of the misfit supes which is great to see and liked the use of the narrator.
3. "I'm Your Pusher" (⭐⭐⭐⭐)
The most comic inspired episode with Simon Pegg coming into play Hughie that’s such a great touch but we get to see Butcher for his 1 episode appearance had a lot of fun with this episode.
4. "Boyd in 3D" (⭐⭐⭐⭐)
Didn’t expect to enjoy this as much as I did felt more like a black mirror meets substance type episode, a couple of dark aspects but a lot of engagement and connection.
5. "BFF" (⭐️⭐️⭐️)
Fuck it man this episode is written by Akwafina and it’s literally about some girl that poops out a talking poop but it works so well because the main antagonist is the Deep so kinda goes hand and hand.
6. "Nubian vs Nubian” (⭐⭐✨)
Honestly one of the funniest episodes just didn’t really care for the characters as much, also nice little reference to The Nubian Prince from the first season of the boys
7. "John and Sun-Hee’” (⭐⭐✨)
This episode tries to be the heartbreaker about two old people but I just didn’t care about either of them to be honest and her powers didn’t really make sense they don’t do a great job adapting that.
8. "One Plus One Equals Two" (⭐⭐⭐⭐✨)
Easily the best episode in the show, can imagine this is the soul purpose anyone watches this show, a perfect example of Homelanders first mission for Vought and captures the essence of the show beautifully, also love ma boy Noir.
