I’m sorry, I really did try
When Shruti delivered that line that I quoted on top my heart shattered. You could sadly see what was going through her mind the whole episode, all the signs shown throughout (like her blank expressions, when she emptied out her lockers at work ) and it sadly represents how it mostly goes: unnoticed. Even towards the end of episode 5 where she was in the stall and left her books and decided to go out without caring was also a little premonition of what was going to happen. What doctor Adam’s said in the final episode, talking about her, goes to show how flawed the system is and how mistreated healthcare workers are. The are underfunded, overworked and receive no help at all. It’s sad how the government decides to put in funds for nuclear weapons and not to important causes like to the healthcare. All of that blood is in their hands.
Such an amazing series that speaks such an important message to me and to many who want to pursue a career in healthcare.
