Oh my dear babies…. I was honestly very hesitant on watching this because I knew that it was going to make me really heartbroken watching them especially after knowing what happened to them but thankfully I did finish this and it was a really great watch, really clean and nice directing. The Beatles will always have a special place in my heart and I’m lucky to have gotten into them. In February 2024, I’ve just gotten out of a relationship which left me really devastated and depressed because I truly love the person a lot and it was a lot of self-blaming and I remember “hey Jude” music video randomly appeared on my television YouTube and I watched and I felt so comforted by Paul’s lyrics, reassuring me that everything will be okay eventually and to keep looking forward and this sentiment was reaffirmed after looking up the meaning behind “hey Jude” which was written by Paul to comfort Julian, John’s first son whom he abandoned, after Paul knew that John and Cynthia divorced. Paul singing really spread this warmness in me and I went on to listen to “let it be” and “if I fell” which all resonated with me a lot because the lyrics were really relatable especially for if I fell and the rest was history. The Beatles were there for me the entire time through my darkest times and helped me move on especially with the above mentioned songs and “you’re going to lose that girl” which reminded me that there's always another guy other there who will treat me better. theres so much quirks about the beatles which i really like such as how cute paul shakes his head when screaming, george's cute fangs, john always making those funny faces and im very grateful that they made this documentary to share the beatles story from the view of the beatles themselves. although its really sad that they broke up in the end but like they said, their legacy will always continue. it was really sad hearing george saying that he felt sorry for john because he left earlier than they did and his only memory of the beatles was of those turbulent times and never had the chance to meet together again and the last episode absolutely wrecked me because they were so saddened by john's death and i gotta hand it to them for making music with his leftover cassette tap because "now and then" was really good and it reflected john's feelings of wanting them to remember him every now and then even though the beatles broke up. it was honestly really nice watching this documentary as i get to see footages of them in their early days and the stories behind each songs and whenever i listen to them, i will remember the stories. its amazing how much they have achieved in just a short span of under 10 years and still so young. its first time ive liked most songs from a single band and how much they've grown musically too, and how their music have brought like minded people like myself and other bands following them to enjoy music. how i wish to be able to experience beatles music for the first time again but im grateful that they've became my daily routine. without them, i would never be where i am today. ill absolutely never shut up about them...
