Ever since The Reverend Jesse Jackson died, I've found myself wanting to rewatch this show, where he made a guest appearances jn a few episodes. My school had a snow day today so that means no school, so I had a full day with nothing to do; So I felt there was nothing better than watching all 11 episodes of this show in one day, which took me almost 6 hours to watch it all. This show is amazing and the the best piece of political fiction I have ever seen.

Witty and well-directed. Certainly ahead of its time in style and form, so Altman really laid the groundwork for the mockumentary series here. Special acknowledgement of Pamela Reed for her performance as campaign manager T.J. Cavanaugh. Unfortunately, in today’s American political landscape, the narrative has completely lost its fangs. It’s cute (and terribly sad) what used to pass for scandal in relation to the presidency.

Tanner '88 stars Michael Murphy as Jack Tanner, a former Democratic Congressman from Michigan who is a dark horse candidate running for President and the iconic Cynthia Nixon stars as his daughter, Alexandra, a politically active College Student who wants to help her father win the nomination and maybe even, The Presidency. This was an extremely good mini-series that featured cameos from some of the election's biggest stars like Reverend Jesse Jackson, Senator Bob Dole, and Senator Gary Hart. This is also a very great show about Presidential campaigning in today's age of news media.

I just didnt like this miniseries. Maybe it was too boring for me or maybe its just not my style but i understand why some could like it but it just wasnt something for me
