i don’t care i loved this. getting the seventies version out of ur head is hard but this is pretty much how i saw the shining. loved seeing how loyal to the book this is. i thought it was scary idc what anyone says

It’s not a GOOD movie ok but it’s absolutely more faithful to the book and I love that. I also found out 20 something years later that this is in fact the version that traumatized me as a kid and made me make my parents stand turned around in the bathroom door for literal years after I saw it on accident
