Episode 6 of ‘The Penguin’ was just awesome. The speech Oswald gave to the other crime bosses was incredible. He opened up about how he's been feeling for years. We don't know if he's following any code yet, but I really enjoyed his speech. “Eat the rich” seems like a good way to sum it up. 

However, the standout moments from this episode are even more remarkable. Vic's transition to the dark side is particularly striking, as it's clear the path he's chosen is unavoidable. And oh, the heart-wrenching moment with Oswald. It's incredible how dad-like he is for a few minutes, but at the same time, Victor has lost his sense of humanity, and that's really sad. Also, I loved that intense scene with Sophia and Eve. I really thought Eve was done for! These two women have been manipulated by men to further their own goals without any regard for their well-being. They share a deep understanding and mutual respect for one another. Incredible scene!!!! Things are going to change a lot after that cliffhanger... OH MY GOD! Sofia's on a mission to get revenge, and she's headed straight for the family. I need the next episode ASAP!

Episode 5 of The Penguin had me totally hooked, another awesome episode. I really liked how it kept me guessing! Watching Oz dive into that darker side was cool. Oz killed Taj and Nadia Maroni and the evil gaze in his eyes was terrifying! First Alberto, now them, Oz is gathering dead bodies and taking out  the criminals' families one by one!

Also SOFIA finally killed Johnny! Looks like his trip around trying to make amends didn't last very long. However, the part where Sofia asserts her mother's surname and seizes complete authority over this newfound empire/family, that entire scene gave me chills. Like, I've said before, Cristin Milioti's acting as Sofia Falcone is amazing, she totally deserves to be nominated for an Emmy and a Golden Globe.

Overall, This episode was just amazing! I get that it's a limited series, but The Penguin is so good. There are only 3 episodes left and I'm gonna miss it when it's over. I really hope it gets a second season. I think it would be insane if it didn't get another season, especially since the show is doing so well!

Also, I loved how this episode really showed just how absolutely scary and traumatizing Arkham is. I was genuinely grossed out while watching some of that. Not because of all the gore, but because of how inhuman it was. In my opinion, it was definitely the best take on Arkham Asylum apart from the comics and the Arkham video games!

It's awesome to experience the scene from Vic's point of view and how terrifying it was to be on the ground level. It's really cool how this episode really shows you how messed up the Riddler is, to even consider the thought of something like that. It almost made me shed a tear!

Episode 3 was a major highlight for me, and I appreciated the shift towards focusing more on Victor this time. Really liked seeing more of Oz’s & Victor’s relationship too, and Oz sweetening the deal more with Sofia & an unexpected ending to accompany it.

The Riddler is definitely up there as one of the best CBM villains ever. I have to admit, I was totally caught off guard by the flashback to the Riddler flooding Gotham! It was pretty intense. Anyway, I’m honestly ashamed to say I abandoned this show one September ago. What can I say? I got busy. A thorough masterpiece, and I can’t get over Colin Farell’s performance throughout the show’s first episode alone; he’s genuinely unrecognizable.

Note: I probably (surely) won’t be watching any movies, since I’ve got school, and I can’t spare the time obviously. When I can, I’ll be watching The Penguin. I’ll keep updating this review as I go on, but not sure when I’ll get to EP2.
