Existential, dark and beautiful!
Thomasin McKenzie is truly one of the best actresses of her generation.
This series hits so deep on what our purpose here on earth truly is, and how harsh it would be to have to endure a new life with the pain of the old ones.
I loved watching Ursula learn and grow into her abilities though, how each life she seemed to understand more and more what she’s been through. As well as seeing the different kind of ways she chose to live, from dictator killer, to a young mother trapped in a war.
All of the supporting cast were incredible as well, I enjoyed seeing the little differences in them in each life too. Always a joy to see Jessica Brown Finley in projects.
One of my only gripes was the ending feeling rushed and not complete. Though maybe that’s the point, Ursula choosing to live her life and realizing though she can do a lot of good, she can’t save everyone.
I know it’s based on a book with sequel focusing on Teddy, so I definitely have to give that a read.
