Using as stand-in for the series. This is now my 3rd watch all in the span of about a year. The first time I finished this my response was to immediately rewatch it. I know that sounds obsessive because it is, but the only other time I have felt this engrossed with and invested in any piece of media was with Game of Thrones. Something I can't help but compare to due to the amount of bare bones components they share.

Hands down the best animation I have ever experienced. Not just the most picturesque (which it is), but always morphing in service of the story. One of the most stylistically restless shows I've seen.

arcane feels like watching people love each other in the worst possible ways and still meaning it vi tries to hold everything together but the world keeps pulling her apart powder just wants to be enough and ends up becoming someone no one knows how to love properly and then there's silco terrifying but sincere at the same time he builds everything out of pain but the way he loves jinx never feels fake it's twisted but real he sees her exactly as she is and never asks her to be smaller for it which somehow makes it hurt more because you know it won't end well

and then s2 just makes it heavier vi starts to feel like the saddest one not because she breaks loudly but because she keeps surviving she stays she fights she still loves people who keep slipping away powder is already gone caitlyn feels close but never fully hers and vi just carries all of it quietly and i keep thinking somewhere in another universe vi dies and everything turns out okay dunianya lebih stabil less chaos which is cruel because it makes her feel like someone who exists just to absorb the damage so others don't have to

jayce and viktor juga they start with something almost hopeful like maybe progress can fix things but it slowly pulls them apart not explosive just sad kehilangan each other pelan pelan while trying to save everything else the ending never really feels like an ending lebih kayak pause yang gak bikin lega and mel at the end standing there alone no words no comfort just her and everything that happened sepi but controlled

arcane doesn't really give you closure it just shows you people who tried and how much it costs

I started watching this documentary in June and didn't finish it until rn. But now that I have finished, I have many things I want to voice.

Arcane is just truly the embodiment of love and persistent dedication. And you can really feel that from watching the show and this amazingly constructed documentary.

I watched Arcane in the beginning of February in 2025. I had no real expectations for it, but I can now say proudly it is the best piece of animation and TV in general I have had the gift of experiencing. But really seeing the inner workings of my favorite show come to be was fascinating. The years of development, the layers of drawing and creating such a unique style of animation, and fleshing out these amazing one-of-a-kind characters.

But most of all, I really want to talk about the music. The music in Arcane is quite literally the best soundtrack to a show I have ever heard. Usually in most shows the music is kind of all over the place and scattered to hit the scenes the way they want at an exact moment. But what I ultimately appreciate about Arcane is the commitment to making this show and overture feel so specific, really just making you feel like you are in this beautiful story. Like when I heard "Our Love" by Curtis Harding for the first time, I was like, "What song is this?" Like what 70s song have I not heard?"

Just to find out when looking up the playlist that it was specifically made for this show. And directed in 2021!?

That's when I knew that this show was about to take over my life completely.

All in all. This show has shaped my life and made me learn so many beautiful things over this past year. The ability to forgive, learn, love, and be myself. I attribute Arcane to a lot of who I am today if I'm being completely honest with myself. This show is one in a million. And I can't tell you how grateful I was and am to have experienced it.
