This was only marginally better than the first animated Ito series, but still not great. The main problem is the animation; the mangas are good because Ito's art style brings the illustrations to life. They seem like they'll come right off the page, and that's hard to replicate with the generic anime style used. Some of the stories chosen were ones that are a little uninteresting, like 'The Strange Hikizuri Siblings' episodes, and others had pretty bad voice acting.
I beg whoever is coming up with these to please stop, unless you can get Studio Fugaku to animate, because I don't know how many more bad adaptations I can take (actually, I do know: 0).
