i don't care, 5 stars.

i feel like this might be one of the best bl i've seen so far, and i mean it when i say i couldn't stop smiling and tearing up throughout the whole series. they are such precious and sweet guys, with their gestures, manners, way of expressing themselves.. i don't know but i see myself in both of them a lot.
i love how it seems like a simple story but in reality it's so deeply full of emotions behind those "normal and casual conversations"
i feel so understood by them as they're queer and the same age as me right now.
it's hard living it, like Sakura said:
*"We're both 17 years old. Turning 18 years old soon. We're not yet adults, nor we're kids anymore. Makes you wanna firmly keep it that way.
Also makes you wanna break it all up.
I wonder what color these feelings are."
*
Debussy is a composer that's very dear to me, his music resonates with my heart so flawlessly. i found his compositions in a lot of movies i've seen, and every single time i got attached to that piece of media. this time it's also a queer one, how could i possibly not want to cherish it forever?
*"He told me he loves me."
*„Yuma was startled„
*"Sakura looked lonely."
*„Yuma had a weird look on his face.„
"Sakura... looked so cute" ♡

"I've always loved Yuma since i met him."
my heart was beating so loud i could hear it with my headphones on.
i watched some bls that ended badly, or where the progression of the relationship was so traumatic. but this bl was made to be a safe place for queer people: it's short, you can always come back to it when you feel like falling in love is bad and will only hurt.
as i said, a 4 episodes heartwarming jbl is something i always appreciate,
a little quirky and sweet, innocent and without stupid misunderstandings... just teenage love.
i started watching it impulsively when i saw that there was the same actor (Yuki Kura) as in his ~I didn't think i would fall in love; his two characters, Sakura and Nagisa, were surely different but both of them had that quiet and comforting personality.
also both of the main characters had a personality: we don't know much about them (for example it seemed as if they didn't have a family) but we feel like we know them personally.
it's great to see a cliché childhood friends dynamic, but you need for the actors to have that special chemistry and connection, and i think they had it, and not only romantically but even platonically.
"All the things I cherish will one day be gone. But, as long as that day hasn’t come yet, I’ll hang on. I won’t give up."

E eu AMEI!
Enfim, bjs Yuma, o primeiro e único homem feminista!
