I think it’s hard to make a series about such a specific theme like wine, but Drops of God does it beautifully. It made me feel curious, inspired, and even sparked a desire to become an oenologist and visit vineyards around the world. The storytelling, the tension, and the cultural depth make it truly captivating. I loved this one.

insanely good! i've been wanting to read the manga it was adapted from for a while, but they haven't released an english physical copy yet, so i thought i'd give this a try. similar to the queen's gambit, i wasn't expecting a show about a more mundane subject (in this case, wine, not chess) would have me at the edge of my seat. the story and performances were just fantastic as well.
