The Edge of Sleep
i have no clue what i just watched but i absolutely loved it. it was insanely disorienting at times and i would definitely still love it even if it wasn’t Markiplier as the main character! i love this so much genuinely… i have a fondness for shows that daze me when i finish it.

i will say that it seems like there was more planned that didn’t fit into schedule, but it’s so good that it doesn’t bother me.

get some sleep, dave torres! we love you, buddy!

Very stylish and ambitious! Clearly the team was not working with a lot but they made a ton with what they had. The tone was super tightly held and I really enjoyed the surreal elements, to the point where certain runs where there weren't many started to feel flat to me. I bought the book this is based on as well to see if there is much more to expand on there but from what I hear this project kind of ends with a lot of open threads which I don't entirely mind. Didn't know what I was expecting with this but after being really impressed with Iron Lung, I wanted to see some of Mark's other project and had quite a good time here.
