ive been eyeing to watch this as soon as i had the time. its actually not hard to finish since its only 5 episodes. i always knew jacob elordi was a phenomenal actor. im actually quite the fond of elordi. hes def critically and commercially worthy. but what i will say was i wasn't rlly sure this was somebody who's capable of leading a project on his own? hes always in duos with his works. like sure hes the main male lead... not the lead lead. this show proved to me hes capable!!! if ur a fan of elordi, def check this out. this is actually a top tier performance of his. he def deserved the double golden globe noms this yr. even projects such as priscilla and saltburn should've gotten him more recognition in the past. its nice jacob got the chance to do a project back in australia.
the mini series was actually pretty good!! im not into war stuff and i havent watched a period work in a while. i can't rlly explain it but its like brooklyn but for depressed men... def for the more mature demographic.

Its kinda upsetting how unknown this series is, i know jacob joked about how nobodys watched it but this is genuinely such a good show and it lowkey fucked me up like wtf 😭😭
Its sad, nice cinematography, and great acting, what more could you want!
