Genuinely one of the most movie limited series I have ever watched. Might be the first TV show to make me cry every single episode. Obviously the fact that I’m dealing with my mom having a terminal cancer diagnosis didn’t really help things here. Michelle Williams and Jenny Slate are absolutely brilliant here. They give the performances of their careers here. The show walks such a tight rope balancing some brutally sad material with very funny stuff but also some extremely sexy and romantic moments. The fact that this didn’t win any Emmys is haunting. This is mikes better than Adolescence in my opinion. This is an extremely heavy show but absolutely worth the watch. The focus on friendship here was just so deeply moving. Couldn’t have loved this more.

realllyyyy glad i am able to log this one. so good, watched it all in one day.. bawled like a baby. everything jenny slate touches is gold. the love in this show and the things it made me feel while also being so funny was insane! & i know it's a crime but i now will have to go read the book
