Mike - four stars
A lot like the first movie but Mike is definitely more outwardly annoyed about his circumstances. He thinks of himself highly and that the work he is doing is beneath him.

Elliot - five stars
This ep really showed how "Josef" really doesn't have a similar script for all his victims. He really likes to get them all in a comfortable place. It's clear that he found Elliott because he also has similar obsessive tendencies but with birds instead of taking human lives. My favorite episode of the season tbh.

Jeremy - three & a half stars
Brought himself into that situation a lot like Sara did in Creep 2. It was a hard watch purely because Jeremy kept trying to play cool and that he was still in control of the whole situation.

Brad - five stars
Another really fun episode. Brad thinks of himself highly like Mike but he has the credentials to back it up or so he believes. He didn't give out his real name so he might be somewhat famous or at least in his mind he is. The decisions that Brad made throughout the whole episode really showed how desperate he was to reach fame through his work. 'Josef' kept feeding Brad compliments and it really did the job to heightened up his ego to the point where he felt like *he had to stay.

Brandt - three stars
Surprisingly very little of Brandt because he was super late 😭. One person finally escapes 'Josef' and it's purely because they had actually instincts about what a creep this guy is. This ep might've showed Josef's inner psyche but he could just be doing a bit. Probably the creepiest out of the eps because that mfer is strangee.

Mom (and Albert) - four & a half stars
Definitely the ep that shares a lot more about Josef's past. Some people think that it's entirely staged but none of the characters break or take a pause. Josef is actually called Wolfie by his mom in this ep. Maybe his birth name is Wolfgang (like Mozart's middle name)? Wolves have been apart of his identity for a very long time it seems like and he's always shown to have issues with reality and aggression. Josef and his mom were very reminiscent of Norma and Norman Bates from Psycho which is very funny since I literally saw it yesterday. It's a common trope that serial killers have a certain Oedipus Complex but damn it is entertaining. The ending of this ep is quite gross.

Every episode was better than the last except the last episode of season 2, it just caught me off guard so bad. My fav episodes are season 1, ep5, season 2, ep 3

yes it's funny at times but it's also genuinely so haunting and such a good insight into Josef's character and mind. absolutely chilling.

Genuinely insane stuff going on here, constantly captivating. What a fun story engine. Knowing what will inevitably happen never takes away from the engagement of each episode. 

Mark Duplass is genuinely so charismatic and his sincerity in her performance is what makes it so unnerving. 

This concept worked so well as a found footage film but it also excels as a tv show with an infinite story engine. 

Would watch as many as this man is willing to make.
