this drama was cute! it had plenty of funny moments, and i found myself enjoying the very stripped-down, raw writing style. it felt refreshingly honest and unpolished in a way that made it more personal.
but i couldn’t help feeling that the romance, especially the realization of their feelings for each other, wasn’t as fleshed out as it could’ve been—particularly with amasawa.
his journey to falling for isumi felt rushed, almost like a skipped chapter in their story. the character-building was solid, no doubt, but i wish we’d gotten those small, intimate moments where amasawa starts to truly see isumi in a different light. those realizations, those quiet shifts, were missing, and it left me wanting more.
overall, a cute watch though!
