see i’m someone isn’t really the fondest of person when it comes to there being shows/movies being made about actual serial killers because when they’re made it’s usually just the people behind them romanticizing or glamorizing the evil people that it’s being made about which then also leads to the viewers doing the exact same thing and it’s just super disgusting to not only me but also that of the families of the victims who lost their lives to the hands of these sick and twisted individuals and so i was real iffy about this series when it first released but i decided to give it a watch today and see for myself if it was done properly and i’ve got to say that i was surprised at how much i liked this one like every single episode was done so well and had me feeling all sorts of emotions throughout this 8 episode series and the main reason why i liked this one a whole lot was because instead of it being like all the other series out there where they mainly focus on the perpetrator who committed all these awful crimes it was instead focused on his victims and their stories which i loved seeing be done in this one because these boys deserve to be remembered more than that disgusting piece of shit who took each of these innocent lives who were simply just trying to find work and sadly because of that they met their horrible demises and i can’t even imagine what all those poor boys had felt in their last moments and that’s what makes me so sad for them and their families who had to go on every day knowing that their sons weren’t ever coming back home to them but just another thing about this series and that was how they didn’t try to make you feel any sort of empathy for john wayne gacy and instead showed you how much of a vile fucking monster he was and how this man felt no remorse whatsoever for taking all these young men’s lives which more series like this should do instead of trying to make you the viewer try to feel bad for these sick people just because of their terrible upbringings which isn’t a excuse because many people have had a childhood similar to that of john’s and didn’t turn out to be a deranged serial killer and so i’m glad that mothefucker is dead and longer here with us! but my heart goes out to all the families of the victims and that i hope they all found some sort of peace in their lives after this horrible tragedy.

this is the standard for all true crime media. made me want to beat ryan murphy with a hammer. so respectful and so carefully honored the victims. michael chernus also scaryyyy good. he nailed that accent. he’s fantastic. in a just world he gets the emmy and not hunnam. highly recommend over any “monster” netflix slop
